So very local, I’m not even on their website. But I was on the front page of my local swedish paper Sydostran with this picture.

The article was amazing. I got to state that I love Bruce Springsteen but that I would like to take Tom Waits for dinner. Wouldn’t we all?

This is my schedule for May. So from now until then I will be writing, rehearsing and recording. And dancing at Odd Box weekender. And riding ponies.

New York City Popfest

Saturday 19th May at Spike Hill. It’s FREE and it’s during the day and we will be on first, together with three other awesome bands I will listen to before I play with them. Me and Matt just sorted out our flight tickets and hotel and shit, so yes, THIS IS HAPPENING!!

26TH May: Bad Vibrations with Medusa Snare at The Victoria, Dalston.
Not only a great poster (Anna Karina looks a bit like me, no?), but three great bands apart from us in Medusa Snare. This will be our first gig together. I will be playing the drums!!!

Going Up The Country 2nd June (I know June is not May, but whatever)
I imagine this being a prelude to Indietracks. Great lineup, awesome people coming. I’ll be singing a song with A Little Orchestra and I’m very very excited! Also, I’ll be rocking out acoustic in the tent, or was it in the pub? Can’t remember. Will tell you. Bring a tambourine.

Oh, and Medusa Snare is going to Leeds to play as well. Or so I’ve heard. In June. And there might be other things happening. Stay tuuuuned.

I have written a few new songs. They are awesome. They will be put together

to form an EP. Hopefully.

I’ve done drums and bass. And with ”I” I mean Adam and Matt. I just sat on the bed, sulking and telling them what to do. That’s how it works in this band. Wanna join? I need a male crooner, a trumpet and some guitars.

I won’t win any posture competitions, but I am wearing Pete Doherty’s hat.

Yesterday we went to Bethnal Green and partied like librarians. My new Bananarama/Byrds-style punk band played, but before that I joined King Of Cats on drums. I hope to be a part of his future arena rock touring band.

I hope you all had a good Christmas and New Years Eve! I went to Leeds and sat around in the studio when T.O.Y.S recorded their new EP. It is totally bloody awesome. Just saying. 2012 will be amazing.

Live from Hendon Cathedral

When I got in from my fifth hour of riding around Hyde Park yesterday, a very exciting box was waiting for me! My colleague thought it was a bomb and had to open it, but it wasn’t, it was my Christmas single Live from Hendon Cathedral! Yay!

Pick up your own copy on Saturday, at Librarians Wanted birthday party with Wake The President, Evans The Death, T.O.Y.S and a lot of other exciting guests and friends (including me). And also:
”DJs: LISA BOUVIER (Awesome Swedish songstress) + AJ MILLER (that tall sunglasses-wearing one outta T.O.Y.S) + us librarians if we haven’t overdosed on cake.”
